Philippine Global Explorers (PGE) has announced 110 travellers who have successfully completed the verification process for recognition as Philippine Travel Masters in 2026, forming the third cohort of Filipinos recognised for having personally travelled to all 82 provinces of the Philippines.

The recognition marks a significant milestone for travellers whose journeys have taken them across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao from widely visited destinations to some of the country’s more remote communities, islands and landscapes.

More than completing a geographical checklist, the Philippine Travel Masters recognition celebrates the experience of discovering the Philippines in its entirety: its places, people, cultures and communities.

Of the 110 Philippine Travel Masters recognised in 2026, 87 represent Luzon, 13 the Visayas and 10 Mindanao, reflecting a cohort drawn from communities across the country’s three major island groups.

For members of the 2026 cohort, the recognition represents the culmination of journeys undertaken in different ways and over different lengths of time, but connected by one achievement: experiencing all 82 Philippine provinces firsthand.

Becoming a Philippine Travel Master

The Philippine Travel Masters recognition is open to individuals who have personally travelled to all 82 provinces of the Philippines.

Applicants participate during designated recognition cycles and are required to submit information and supporting proof of their travels for verification.

Submitted applications undergo the Philippine Travel Masters verification process, during which supporting documentation is reviewed against the requirements established for the applicable recognition cycle. Applicants are responsible for providing complete and authentic evidence of their travels, and only those who satisfy the applicable verification requirements are formally recognised as Philippine Travel Masters.

The process is designed to protect the integrity of the recognition while establishing a documented standard for those who earn the distinction.

While reaching all 82 provinces is the milestone that brings these travellers together, the Philippine Travel Masters recognition also carries a wider message about what comes after the journey.

Having experienced the breadth of the country firsthand gives Philippine Travel Masters an opportunity to share what they have learned, encourage others to explore responsibly, and contribute to a deeper appreciation of the Philippines’ cultural and natural heritage.

In a message to the 2026 cohort, BJ Carreon of the Philippine Travel Masters underscored that responsibility:

“As Philippine Travel Masters, remember that this recognition is not the end of your journey. It is the beginning of a greater responsibility.”

The message reflects a principle at the heart of meaningful travel: reaching a destination may complete an itinerary, but the experiences, relationships, and perspectives gained along the way can continue long afterwards.

For the new Philippine Travel Masters, the achievement therefore becomes an opportunity not only to celebrate where they have been, but also to inspire others to discover the Philippines with curiosity and respect.

Celebrating the Philippine Travel Masters 2026

In the coming weeks, Philippine Global Explorers will introduce the 2026 Philippine Travel Masters across its digital platforms, celebrating the individuals behind this year’s cohort and sharing selected stories from their journeys around the country.

The recognition will culminate in the Philippine Travel Masters Awards Night on December 05, 2026, where the successful applicants will be formally recognised as part of the third Philippine Travel Masters cohort.

Their names will also become part of the Philippine Travel Masters’ permanent record within the PGE Hall of Fame, joining previous cohorts recognised for completing the journey across all Philippine provinces.

Together, the 110 Philippine Travel Masters of 2026 represent more than thousands of kilometres travelled. Collectively, their journeys offer a portrait of a Philippines discovered from province to province and a reminder that there is always more to learn from the places, cultures, and people encountered along the way.
