Philippine Global Explorers (PGE) is pleased to welcome Jhayde McCabe as the organization’s new Social Media Director.
As PGE continues to connect Filipinos and Filipino communities across the globe, Jhayde will help lead the organization’s social media presence by sharing member stories, travel experiences, community initiatives, and organizational milestones across various digital platforms. Her appointment reflects PGE’s ongoing commitment to strengthening engagement, expanding its reach, and showcasing the diverse experiences of Filipino explorers worldwide.

Born in Cebu and raised in the United Arab Emirates, Jhayde brings a unique global perspective shaped by her multicultural background and passion for travel. She is a travel content creator and entrepreneur, running her own creative business while producing content that highlights travel, culture, and community. You can follow her adventures and creative endeavors on Instagram – jhaydecharlaine (personal) and jadelainecreative (business).

Beyond her work as a creator, Jhayde has actively contributed to community-building initiatives. She recently spearheaded PGE’s first outreach event in Cebu, helping bring together members and supporters through meaningful local engagement. The initiative reflected her dedication to connecting people and creating opportunities for collaboration within the PGE community.

Her work has also extended beyond the Filipino community. Through content creation and engagement with the Irish community alongside her husband, she has helped foster cultural connections and promote travel experiences across different audiences. Her work has received recognition from tourism organizations in Ireland and has been featured by travel-focused platforms, including Most Traveled People.
Travel, for Jhayde, goes beyond visiting destinations. One of her passions is visiting children’s homes around the world, including projects in Africa, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Through these visits, she shares stories, encourages young people to broaden their perspectives, and introduces them to the opportunities and cultures that exist beyond their local communities.

In her new role, Jhayde will work closely with the PGE Communications and Leadership team to strengthen the organization’s digital presence, support storytelling initiatives, and help showcase the journeys and achievements of PGE members around the world.
“Please join us in welcoming Jhayde to the PGE leadership team, We look forward to her ideas, creativity, and commitment as we continue to grow our community and inspire more Filipinos to explore the world with purpose.”
PGE President Rambi Francisco.
