The Philippine Global Explorers (PGE) is proud to announce the launch of the First Philippine Travel Masters Award, to be held in conjunction with its 4th Annual Grand Meet-up and PGE Travel Awards. This landmark event will take place at The Bellevue Manila Hotel, Filinvest City, Alabang, Metro Manila, celebrating Filipino travelers who have showcased extraordinary dedication to exploring the diverse beauty of our archipelago.
This initiative serves as a tribute to Filipino adventurers who have journeyed across the Philippines, highlighting the nation’s rich cultural, historical, and natural heritage. The event reinforces PGE’s mission to elevate the Philippines as a must-visit destination, inspiring both domestic and international tourism, while encouraging Filipinos to embrace the beauty of their own country.
Honoring the Trailblazers of Philippine Travel
The First Philippine Travel Masters Award will honor 41 distinguished Filipinos who have successfully visited all provinces of the Philippines (currently 82) and passed PGE’s rigorous verification process. This process was designed with the guidance of Mr. Thomas Buechler, creator of NomadMania’s verification standards for world travelers.
Of the 41 honorees, nine women and thirty-two men from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will be inducted into the prestigious Philippine Travel Masters Club. Among these honorees are notable achievers such as:
- Atty. Dominador Buhain, President and Chairman of the REX Group of Companies and the first verified Filipino to complete this journey.
- Marco Puzon (Marco de PH), who has not only visited all 82 provinces but also explored the entire 1,634 cities and towns in the Philippines.
- Jhonel M. Añavesa, a government employee and successful YouTube content creator at Wandering Soul channel.
- Javee Francisco, founder of GalaPH tour company.
Distinguished Guests and Speakers
PGE is honored to welcome Ms. Margarita Nograles, Chief Operating Officer of the Tourism Promotions Board of the Philippines, as the event’s guest speaker. Her expertise and leadership in promoting Philippine destinations will inspire attendees and underscore the importance of local travel in strengthening national identity and the tourism industry.
In addition, Mr. Arjun Shroff, President of the Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA), will serve as an awards presenter, celebrating the achievements of these exceptional Filipino travelers.
