The group formed and founded the Philippine Travelers Group, as it was initially called before it was changed to the Philippine Global Explorers.

The Facebook private group was created by Riza Rasco as Administrator. Jon Opol became the first Facebook Group Moderator.

In anticipation of the incorporation of a non-profit entity of PGE, the Founding Board of Directors has been formalized and composed of Riza Rasco, Jimmy Buhain, Rambi Francisco, Mars Mendoza, Dondon Bales, Jon Opol, and Nolan Tianco. This was witnessed by Lee Ulangca.

Dondon Bales and Jon Opol created the PGE official email account and social media accounts (Facebook public page, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube, and LinkedIn).

Launched the PGE website created by Dondon Bales and the team composed of Hazel Borres Apuhin, Cedric Valera, Rambi Francisco, Andie Andros, and Jeanne Gokotano.

The PGE Founding Board of Directors finalized the Articles of Incorporation and By-laws of the Philippine Global Explorers.

The Philippine Global Explorers have been granted the Certificate of Incorporation by the Philippines Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Incorporators of the PGE non-profit entity are Riza Rasco, Jimmy Buhain, Mars Mendoza, Rambi Francisco, Nolan Tianco, and Dondon Bales.
